Downtown Parks
The following parks are available for special event permits:
Grove Park
Grove Street Grove Park is located at the intersection of Columbia Avenue and Grove Street near the Visitor's Center and Rehoboth Beach Museum. Surrounded by large trees, Grove Park is great for relaxing in the shade on a hot summer day or enjoying a picnic with family and friends. There is a "Tot Lot" play area for children and circuit work out equipment for adults, surrounded by a wide paved walking path. There are two pavilions for gatherings that are available to rent, restrooms, shuffleboard courts, and many benches. Grove Park is also home to the Rehoboth Beach Farmers Market on Tuesdays.
Stockley Street Park
This 3-acre park is located on Stockley Street just west of Scarborough Avenue. The park has several benches that provide a view of Silver Lake and a "Tot Lot" play area for children. This park is also home to Turtle Bridge, which spans Silver Lake and connects the park to Rehoboth Elementary and the Schoolvue neighborhood. The bridge provides the perfect vantage point to observe turtles swimming in the water and sunning themselves on logs.
Lake Gerar Park
Lake Gerar is a diverse 15-acre park containing a freshwater lake, children's play area, a fishing pier, trails, open space, and a manicured garden. It's located along Lake Avenue at the intersection of Lake Avenue and First Street. There is a shaded playground at the northeast section of the park near Henlopen Hotel. There are a swing set and picnic table at the lake's west end, near the intersection of Olive Avenue and Lake Avenue. The city's Italian garden, Navigator's Park, is also located at the west end of the lake.
Beaches
Beaches are designated as follows:
Deauville Beach: North of the boardwalk and has its own parking lot and access from Pennsylvania, Park, Oak Avenues.
Rehoboth Beach (boardwalk): the beach along the boardwalk.
Poodle Beach: South of the boardwalk and has access from Queen Street by Silver Lake.

Rehoboth Beach Library
The Upstairs Meeting Room, located on the second floor, is available both during and after Library hours and has a maximum occupancy of 70 people with tables and chairs; 100 people with chairs only. Marriage License & Beach Permits
The facility is booked and so are the hotel rooms or rental property. The dresses and tuxedos are measured and fitted. The photographer is ready and so is the DJ or band.
RBMS has you covered. Apply for a Delaware marriage license as well as permission to have your ceremony right on the beach please contact Rehoboth Beach City Hall at 302-227-6181.
