Rehoboth Beach Main Street, Inc. a nonprofit organization comprised of our wonderful merchants and supportive residents who love downtown Rehoboth Beach and are dedicated to keeping it a real hometown and a thriving resort community. Rehoboth Beach Main Street celebrates our amazing community, our commitment to support local and our passion for our unique breathtaking downtown. Beach Main Street works to promote downtown Rehoboth Beach as a year-round beach town with a vibrant commercial area, attractive signage and storefronts, a full calendar of events, and economic programs benefiting the business and residential community.

Rehoboth Beach Main Street is a not-for-profit, volunteer-driven organization. Our mission is to foster and promote a vibrant, year-round, in-town experience for businesses, residents, and visitors alike.

Dan Slagle has 30 years’ small business experience and a skill set to successfully collaborate with downtown Rehoboth Beach business owners, merchants, residents and community leaders to promote the positive image of downtown Rehoboth Beach as a great place to visit, shop, dine and invest.

Committees

COMMUNICATIONS serves as the focal point for communicating RBMS
accomplishments, partnerships, and direction, while promoting our membership and the
City of Rehoboth Beach to both local and regional audiences.

 

ECONOMIC VITALITY focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs & innovators that drive our local economy.

DEVELOPMENT develops programs and initiatives for RBMS that promote, encourage,
and facilitate the development and growth of RBMS, as well as develops an ongoing
multi-year fundraising plan to ensure the long-term financial and institutional viability of
RBMS.

 

DESIGN & BEAUTIFICATION  supports our downtown community by creating a visible,
inviting, inclusive atmosphere for downtown Rehoboth Beach that celebrates our historic character and fosters accessible people-centered public spaces.

 

PROMOTION positions our downtown as the center of the community and hub of economic activity, while creating a positive image that showcases our unique characteristics.

 

ORGANIZATION involves creating a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for downtown Rehoboth Beach.
