Rehoboth Beach Main Street, Inc. a nonprofit organization comprised of our wonderful merchants and supportive residents who love downtown Rehoboth Beach and are dedicated to keeping it a real hometown and a thriving resort community. Rehoboth Beach Main Street celebrates our amazing community, our commitment to support local and our passion for our unique breathtaking downtown. Beach Main Street works to promote downtown Rehoboth Beach as a year-round beach town with a vibrant commercial area, attractive signage and storefronts, a full calendar of events, and economic programs benefiting the business and residential community.

Rehoboth Beach Main Street Executive Director, Dan Slagle

Dan Slagle has 30 years’ small business experience and a skill set to successfully collaborate with downtown Rehoboth Beach business owners, merchants, residents and community leaders to promote the positive image of downtown Rehoboth Beach as a great place to visit, shop, dine and invest.

Greer Maneval

In 2002, after closing her l.architecture practice in Silver Spring, MD and concluding her term as the President of the Potomac Executive Network, Greer became a full-time resident of Rehoboth Beach. Since moving here, she’s been active in the Rehoboth Beach community. Her ties include being a past president of the Sussex County Genealogical Society and the Cape Business Network. In addition to currently being the President of Rehoboth Beach Main Street., as an avid artist, she is an administrator of Urban Sketchers Delaware organization.

Jerry Filbin

Retired to the Rehoboth Beach area from Washington, DC in 2015 after summering here for over 25 years. Jerry was a scientist and manager for the US Environmental Protection Agency where among other things, he was a national grant program manager. He has served previously on the Boards of 4 other not-for-profit organizations. In addition to RBMS Secretary/Board Member, Jerry also works for CAMP Rehoboth as an HIV Testing Counselor

ECONOMIC VITALITY focuses on capital, incentives, and other economic and financial tools to assist new and existing businesses, catalyze property development, and create a supportive environment for entrepreneurs & innovators that drive our local economy.

 

DESIGN & BEAUTIFICATION support our downtown community by enhancing the physical and visual assets that set our commercial district apart.

 

PROMOTION positions our downtown as the center of the community and hub of economic activity, while creating a positive image that showcases our unique characteristics.

 

ORGANIZATION involves creating a strong foundation for a sustainable revitalization effort, including cultivating partnerships, community involvement, and resources for downtown Rehoboth Beach.
